Welcome to Off Lead, a personalised dog walking service founded by Abby, a lifelong dog lover and former guardian to my angel whippet, Jeff (2020–2025). Jeff was more than a companion, he was my greatest teacher. Sensitive and reactive, he helped me develop a deeper understanding of dog behaviour and the importance of compassionate, individualised care.

Born out of the covid era, Off Lead came to life when I took a leap away from the 9–5 grind and followed my heart into something more meaningful - walking and caring for dogs.

Why the name? It’s simple. Dogs are at their happiest when they’re off the lead, free to sniff, explore, and just be themselves. That sense of freedom, joy, and natural expression is what Off Lead is all about. But don’t worry, not all dogs have be off lead, safety is our number one priority!

I believe every dog is unique, and my mission is to offer personalised, affordable care that reflects that. Whether your dog is shy, spirited, senior, or somewhere in between, I take the time to get to know them and tailor our walks to their needs.

Alongside me is a small, trusted and reliable team, carefully selected for their experience, calm handling skills and genuine love of dogs. Each team member is trained to a high standard to ensure your dog is always in the safest, most capable hands, no matter who is leading the walk.

Community is at the heart of what we do. Over the years, I’ve built strong relationships with local groomers, behaviourists and vets, so our support doesn’t end when the walk does. Client’s benefit from a trusted network of professionals who understand and genuinely care about your dog, something I feel sets us apart in the area.

Sustainability is a core value of Off Lead. We use eco-friendly equipment wherever possible, opt for compostable poo bags, and we prioritise walking or cycling over public transport and vans, because caring for dogs also means caring for the planet they play on
