Services
Whether you need some help building your dog’s confidence around other dogs, a companion for them whilst you’re at work or a bit of extra exercise, I’ve got your covered.
What makes me different from other walkers?
I’m licensed to walk in Lea Valley parks. This not only gives me the freedom to explore the extensive green spaces around Hackney (Middlesex Filter Beds, Leyton & Walthamstow Marshes), but also gives me the opportunity to work with the Lea Valley Regional Park Authority to ensure the parks are clean and safe for the public and wildlife.
I only walk dogs in small groups with a maximum of six dogs per group.
I am experienced with nervous and reactive dogs and rescues.
I match dogs with groups of dogs of the same play style and temperament.
I understand dog body language and take steps to ensure that every dog feels comfortable and gets the most out of every walk. I step in if play gets too rough, I provide reassurance when they are uncomfortable and I can suggest certified dog trainers to help you and your dog overcome challenges.
I practice positive reinforcement by rewarding good behaviour and ignoring or distracting from unwanted behaviour.
Walking routes are always varied, so they are as enriching as possible.
I structure every walk so that the dogs benefit from a balance of high energy/stimulating games of play and slower activities amongst nature, using their noses to explore their surroundings - letting dogs be dogs!
I use long leads and trackers (for dogs who are still mastering their recall) until I am confident that they can come off the lead.
I source treats with as few ingredients as possible and carry a variety of treats with me on walks for dogs with specific diets and intolerances.
